Lovell is a town of approximately 1,000 residents in the Oxford county of western Maine. It offers dining, lodging and shopping. It is a good area for taking a vacation or to stop at for food and fuel during travel.

The Center Lovell Inn offers dining as well as lodging. Menu items include seafood, salads, vegetables, and various meats. Dining is also available at the Loon's Nest Restaurant (opens for the summer in June) and the Ebenezer Pub & Restaurant, which is next to the country club and has open dining.

Vacation rental cottages on Kezar Lake are another type of lodging available in Lovell. Gilmore Camps (gilmorecamps.com) offers weekly rentals of several cottages from mid-June through early September. Vacation rentals may also be available from private individuals.

Lovell has at least three convenience stores. There is the Center Lovell Market, Rosie's (also has movie rentals), and the Wicked Good Store. The Center Lovell Market offers newspapers, ice cream, soda, food, beer, and other items. The Wicked Good Store has a lunch counter with pizza available, as well as gas pumps (diesel and regular).

Lovell also has an antiques/collectibles shop (The Wonder Store), an art gallery, a used farm equipment store, a bait & tackle shop, and two guide services. There is a town beach (see photograph) with picnic tables and a boat launch.

Area newspapers include the Advertiser-Democrat (Norway) and Rumford Falls Times.

Other establishments include a Post Office, library, town office, fire station, and historical society. Some of the nearby towns are Fryeburg (larger), Stoneham, and Waterford.
