What was Mariah Thinking when She Decided to Marry a 27 Year Old in Such a Short Span of Time?

Mariah Carey is one of the most prolific singers in this generation, and Nick Cannon is king of the current line of blaxploitation flicks such as Drumline and Love don't Cost a Thing. He's dated a bevy of leading ladies like his co-star from Love don't cost a thing, Grammy-nominated singer Christina Milian, but that wasn't to last after she had discovered he was cheating by checking his sidekick (an electronic personal device), yet they remain friends to this day according to published reports. Cannon also briefly dated Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian, daughter of the late OJ Simpson defense attorney Robert Kardashian. Nick began dating Victoria Secrets model Selita Ebanks in February of 2007 and proposed to her 6 weeks later in New York, and just less than 5 months later the couple ended their engagement. It was announced in late April 2008 that Cannon was engaged to singer Mariah Carey who appeared in Carey's video 'Bye Bye' and the sad thing is that he proposed to Carey a month after they began dating. What doesn't make a lot of sense is that Nick is not very mature at how he spends frivolously on expensive engagement rings for Ebanks and Carey and both rings look identical even though the jeweler claims he made different rings if you look at them both closely both of the rings look identical with the exception of Carey and Ebanks' rings are identical in style and diamonds except Ebanks had slight color to hers and from what was said Cannon spent a reported $1 million on Ebanks' ring and about $2 million on Carey's ring.
