Super Smash Bros. Brawl Strategy: Dragoon Strike Event

In the Dragoon Strike Event of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the objective is to defeat your enemies using the Dragoon item. Although that may sound simple, gathering the item can be quite difficult. Here are some tips to help you out on this event.

Overview
Dragoon, the air ride ship from Kirby Air Ride, can be used as a devastating item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. For the Dragoon Strike Event, you will be playing as Kirby. The pink ball mascot must use the Dragoon exclusively to defeat the three Warios teaming up on him. You will have two stocks of life to beat this event.

Unlocking the Event
The Dragoon Strike Event is the 13th event available. To unlock it, you must beat 7 of the first 10 events.

Rewards
By beating the Dragoon Strike Event in any difficulty, you will earn the Legendary Air Ride Machine Music CD. You will also need to beat this event in order to unlock Event #41.

Basic Strategies
Stage
The Halberd stage has a small platform, which will be bad for you when you are trying to collect the Dragoon parts. After about 1.5 minutes, the ships will start shooting lasers and canons at the platform. Make sure to take advantage of this since these stage quirks will knock the Dragoon parts off of your enemies.

Enemies
Wario by himself is slow but powerful. Be especially wary with his grab moves. As long as you can block his slow attacks, you will be fine. Unfortunately, you will be facing three Warios at the same time in a cramp area. Therefore, they will often end up surrounding and ganging up on you. To make matters worse, they have infinite stocks of life unless you defeat them using the Dragoon item.

Items
The only items you will see in the Dragoon Strike Event are the three Dragoon parts. In order to use the Dragoon, you must collect all the parts. Easier said than done; your opponents can also pick the parts up. Once you gather all three, it will instantly knock out any opponent lined up in you sight. You will have to gather the parts again after you use the Dragoon; so make sure you take out multiple opponents with one round to reduce the workload.
