Eddie Murphy and Scary Spice Expecting a Child...or Two?

Scary Spice is Four Months Pregnant with Eddie Murphy's Baby

TMZ is reporting that Melanie Brown, better known as Scary Spice, the only black member of the hugely successful '90s girl band, the Spice Girls, is four months pregnant with Eddie Murphy's child.

An unnamed source told TMZ that Scary Spice gushed about her anticipated birth after entering the posh (our favorite Spice Girl, by the way) Le Bra Couture Lingerie & Swimwear shop on North Robertson Boulevard in West
Hollywood on Saturday.

Rumors are circulating that Eddie Murphy and Scary Spice will marry next month, well before the anticipated birth of the baby - or babies, perhaps, according to Scary Spice, who was reportedly concerned that she may be pregnant with twins, since she pointed out that twins allegedly run in Eddie Murphy's family.

Posters on TMZ's website were quick to pounce and give Scary Spice a lesson in biology.

"Apparently basic biology isn't Scary's forte," wrote bulldog81 about Brown, who is mother to a 7-year-old daughter from a prior union. "Most high school sophomores know that a predisposition to twins, whether fraternal (releasing more than one egg) or identical (one egg splitting), runs on the female's side"

Others commented on Eddie Murphy's propensity to create children. Murphy, who has five children with his ex-wife Nicole Murphy and a son from a prior relationship, was officially divorced from Nicole in April.

"Eddie Murphy is a baby makin' machine," proclaimed a poster called So What.

"Go for it guys," encouraged Lashon. "I am trying to have as many you Eddie!"

Still other members of the forum couldn't forget Eddie Murphy's run-in with a transsexual "hitchhiker" who later died.

"[Eddie is] acting like the typical Hollywood type," wrote Saheeb. "He is so insecure, he leaves one situation to get in another, without taking time to reflect on his homosexual tendencies."

With a starring role in the highly-anticipated film Dreamgirls to be released on Christmas Day, Eddie Murphy will no doubt be a permanent fixture in the news and gossip rags.

"Another chapter in the wild adventures of Eddie Murphy. Stay tuned..." wrote George Vieto.

I didn't even know Eddie was divorced. How sad, as he and his wife seemed happy. I wonder what the age difference is here?

My, I haven't heard anything about the Spice Girls for a really long time. Of course, I wasn't looking for anything either... Good reporting.
