A Day in May

Last Mother's day,

My son was away...

But it was no matter, because there would always be next year.

This May it is his memory that is we hold near.

It has been almost a year.

My son's voice lays silent, it is clear.

Our son's life here on earth is gone.

But from heaven's windows his eye's watch as life's road we travel along.

No words can he say, come what may.

Only watch and pray.

If in heaven our loved ones do pray.

Watch and pray, and wait patiently for the day.

for the day when in heaven his family will be whole.

The last day, the last walk for my son, ended this past May.

Now on heaven's shore he walks.

Today ,it is with God our son walks and talks.
