UnderJams: A Review of the Bedwetting Aid

Underjams are a brand new product from Pampers that are made for kids who wet the bed. They were released start in April 2008. Underjams are made for kids who wet the bed so that they can be much more discrete about it. Underjams has a commercial that shows how they are much more
discrete than the next leading product which is Goodnites made by Kimberly Clark.

Underjams have several features that make them very attractive. The absorbency of Underjams locks away liquids and make sure the Underjams do not leak. They also have LowWaist which is one of the most commonly talked about features of Underjams. LowWaist allows for kids to have the Underjams sit lower, so that unlike Goodnites others will not even know that they are wearing them. ComfortWear is another feature of Underjams. They are made from soft and breathable material that is not as harsh to the skin as Goodnites.

Underjams are made for both boys and girls. They come in sizes of 38-65 pounds and 58-85 pounds. However, although not advertised, it has been found that the Underjams will fit kids who are much larger than 85 pounds, which is not typical of Goodnites. The price of Underjams is cheaper than the price that Goodnites can typically be found at. It is $9.49 for a 13 pack of the large Underjams at my local Kroger store while a 13 pack of large Goodnites are $12.49.

There are several flaws that have been reported with Underjams however. Among these are the fact that Underjams have fallen apart if someone wears them long enough. This can be a big problem and many kids who wear them could have them litterally fall apart while they are wearing them. Also, it has been discovered that while Underjams do sit lower, this can cause some problems for some kids who are used to where Goodnites fit on them causing leaks for the first period of time.
