Plumbing problems can occur at the worst of times, and it becomes imperative that you get it fixed as soon as possible. If you are staying in the Baltimore area and its suburbs, Len the plumber is one of the best companies to call. I had experienced a plumbing problem in my kitchen sink right at the time when I was expecting guests within a couple of days.

I called some of the companies around and realized that they could not make it in time and could come after a couple of weeks. Len the plumber was the only one company that responded. They could come the next day and have a look at it. If the problem looked manageable they would complete it the same day.

The positive aspects of the company are as follows:

1. The phone numbers where listed clearly for different areas on their website www.lentheplumber.com. There was no waiting time on the phone and I was greeted with real person.

2. Len the plumber was Baltimore's best in 2006 by the City Paper.

3. They are a local company and their service areas are around Baltimore.

4. The person who comes at your home is courteous and provides you with exact quote for the work required to be done. There is no pressure for you to go with them.

5. They provide you with full explanation of what is wrong in simple laymen's terms.

6. Once you agree to there quote the work is done with good speed and the hardware they use are good quality.

7. They provide warranty on the work that is done by them.

8. They also provide with discount when you have multiple thing done at your home.

9. The work is done within couple of days most of the time it is done the next day!

The negative aspects of the company are as follows:

1. The person who picks up the phone is unable to help you out with any kind of rough estimate for even the most standard work.

2. There is a non refundable $29 dollars fee to have a person come out and give you quote. That fee is not applied towards the work done on your home.

Overall the work done for my house was good but I was not happy with the $29 fee that was not applied towards the work we had them do for our house (Approx $800!).
