Mariah Carey must have been thinking after all; information was released that the two actually did sign a prenuptial agreement before their nuptials. Smart thinking on their part considering celebrity marriages generally head south.

Mariah Carey married Nick Cannon on May 2nd in the Bahamas. This is Mariah's second marriage and Nick's first. This business woman proved herself a smart cookie signing those papers.

According to a source shared with Fox news the celebrity diva stated "Anyone who thinks we didn't have a prenuptial agreement is smoking something." Who'd of guessed that she actually was thinking before saying the "I do's" on that remote island.

This multi platinum recording artist has produced several albums, three since her last marriage, owns a perfume line, is into real estate investments, not to mention having publishing royalties to her songs. Currently Mariah is worth a whopping $225 million dollars.

Nick Cannon is a comedian/actor landing roles in "Whatever it Takes", "Men in Black II", and his first starring role was in "Drumline". Nick Cannon's net worth would be approximately a million giver or take. Now who is getting the better end of this deal? Though Nick Cannon currently has projects in the works he is going to have to do quite a bit of catch up to keep up with the multi million dollar super star.

Before Mariah he had dated Grammy nominated singer and actress Christina Milian and Victoria Secret's Selita Ebanks. In May 2007 he had proposed to Ebanks but later called off the engagement in October the same year.

It was reported by Access Hollywood that Cannon had proposed to Carey in April 2008, obtained a marriage license in May 2008, then tied the knot. It was confirmed by Cannon's family that the two were indeed hitched at Mariah's private estate.

Apparently the saying is true, What's hers is hers and what's his is his. Hopefully these forms are binding.
