In Part -1 I may have given the impression that I have come to some hasty conclusion, by taking just on example of our friend Pamela's miraculous recovery. We have in our own small circle of family and friends too many medically well documented cases of total regression, which had our doctors scratching their heads! All those scans and sonographs are available to verify, what I have to say. My sister, Neera at one time had such a bout of acute pancreatitis, that the doctors asked us to inform all our relatives about the eventuality. Even in those painful and despairing moments, she would ask us to sing songs for her (and she would keep the beat with her hands). She never lost her robust sense of humor. She was a total atheist and as such had no God our saint to fall back on. We at least have an altar of sorts at home, but she had none. Somehow her condition started improving and after two weeks, she stabilized enough for doctors to contemplate operating on her. They took a scan and decided to remove the blockage of her bile duct and to let her regain her strength over a month, before they could operate. The date was fixed. A week before the date of the operation they took a scan again and found that there was no blockage and no operation to be done. A panel of doctors met and decided to get the investigations done at another clinic, which also confirmed the good news. Now 26 years later, Neera is very much around live and kicking, what with her sense of humor and fondness for good food, which among other things may have got her the dreaded pancreatitis, in the first place!

Mind Over Matter - Part 2

COSMIC MAN - A cheerful and a positive mind is a very strong force, which determines the extent of healing. A good healer of today would tend to treat the Body, Mind and Spirit as one holistic entity.

There is more to healing and sustaining life than allopathy knows of.

A refreshing read for sure. There is hope beyond medicine. Thank you again for sharing from a higher order.

Dear RM, you are right about speculating, why baby's may have to suffer with terminal diseases. Those who believe in the Law of Karma (Cause and Effect) feel that the consequences of all the good and bad we do, is not only visited upon us, but also up on our progeny. Thus perhaps, propensity of certain families towards heart diseases, arthritic conditions, cancer, etc. The genetic predisposition , as they say. Who knows! As the sages of Rig Veda concluded, ' May be He knows, May be He knows not!".

You know I agree with you. I have heard many times that the root of all illnesses is one thing. The outer manifestations of that root make it appear as if the illness comes from the outside when it actually begins within the mind, not necessarily intentionally, of course. But how can a baby become ill? Perhaps negative vibrations or worry from either one or both of the parents or guardians. There is much to think on--or perhaps nothing at all!
