Thank God for Rev. Wright!

"Barack Obama, who would be the first black president"; really, I would have never guessed. In almost every article that I have read recently, that addendum (or similar) has followed Mr. Obama's name. Why is it that the media feels that it is important to point this out consistently? I
know that the US has a poor reputation for educating its people in history, but is it really so bad that we have to be reminded almost every time his name is mentioned? Could it possibly be that racism in the media isn't as dead as they like to say it is? Do you see "John McCain, who would be the first ex-pow president"?

Racism is not dead in this country, it still festers in underground clumps scattered throughout the county. Here comes Mr. Obama, a charismatic man (some have compared him to JFK), a man who knows how to rally and inspire, a fresh face with fresh ideas to infuse into the stagnant morass that politics has been for years. What a wonderful choice, but wait...oh my lord, he's blackand his name is, is foreign too. What are uneducated white folk to do? Well, vote for Hillary Clinton, yea, that solves the problem, I mean she's a woman, but at least....

What about Ms. Clinton though, she's from a long history of politics, she wears her 'experience' like a badge of honor. She "knows the town" (D.C.) and knows how to 'work it'. Isn't that what we've went with for countless presidents? It's just the same old politics, insiders who know how to scratch each other's backs and make deals in back rooms.

Did you know that the vast majority of the American flag lapel pins are made in China? Haha--that is so patriotic! Well, this is a good article and I love the Voltaire quote! Good work--I'm not sure that Rev. Wright has made any racist comments, though I'm sure the media would love for us to get all worked up about him. I would actually much prefer to vote for Rev. Wright than Obama, Clinton, or McCain! We need someone who isn't afraid to say what they think. Ron Paul, anyone?
