Teacher Tiffany Shepherd Fired for Wearing Bikini

Teacher Tiffany Shepherd was reportedly fired from her teaching job in Florida's St. Lucie county school district. Shepherd stated that she was not fired from her job for poor performances but because she wore a bikini on a charter boat at her second job.

Shepherd's second job consisted of her wearing a bikini on a charter fishing boat. She was hired amongst other attractive women to bring on a new concept of fishing with biking-clad and sometimes topless, female mates as reported by ABC News. All though teachers have the right to do what the wish, they should be more cognizant of their behavior off of school grounds. Teachers should think before they do something like this. I understand that Tiffany Shepherd needed her second job after her nasty divorce and her becoming a single mother of three, but if you are going to do something like this then you should be more discreet.

I don't know what the laws are in Florida but in the state that I live in, the teachers must sign a contract that forbids them in pertaining to any activity as this.

I assume that Shepherd would not want her children to see her like this so why would she want any of the school children to see her like this? People often post pictures of attractive women on the internet for all too see and who is to say that one of her students wouldn't see her pictures up on a web site like youtube or picturetrail?

Tiffany Shepherd had also stated that she could make as much in two days working at Smokin' em Charters as she could in a week at her biology teaching job as reported by NBC News.

If Shepherd makes this type of money and needs the money then she should have quit her teaching job for a while so that she could pursue her other job instead of taking a chance.

Being a teacher means to look out for the children and doing something like this is just looking for trouble.

If all she was doing was wearing a bikini then I would see nothing wrong with it but she went as far as to work on a boat that hired women who would entertain topless in some circumstances.
