Inevitably, with monotonous regularity, pro-gays and gays bleat like sheep, that anyone who dares to oppose homosexuality is full of hate, spouting hate-speech. Even a pastor’s wife says she wants to cry because people like us speak against this most heinous of sins.

So, am I full of hatred? (Was Jesus full of hatred when He said the scribes and Pharisees were like vipers and whited sepulchres?). To date no-one has questioned what has been said – only that I have said it at all! I fail to see that presenting the facts about something constitutes ‘hatred’.

In my work and study I am academically rigorous and know the difference between opinion and fact. But most ‘critics’ I come across have no idea at all. They are clueless. Rather than face the truth, they shout abuse and will not even contemplate that what I have said is based not on my own views, but on scientific and medical facts. My ‘critics’, on the other hand, speak emotively, with scant regard for truth and facts.

Laughably, many try to argue from scripture, though they are either atheists or just plain ignorant. They conclude that I must be full of hate, because there is nothing in scripture against homosexuality. Excuse me? Are they on the same planet? They also try to spread the myth that since Jesus did not mention homosexuality by name, then it must be okay to be gay! In academic terms, this is such a moronic statement to make, it is not worth looking at in detail. But, I’m going to anyway… but only insofar as to give an outline.

Takeaways
  • Jesus gave us principles from which to make good judgments
  • The Apostles accurately taught what Jesus said
  • Many gays can and do change
Did You Know?
Jesus said that the scribes were vipers - does that mean He hated them? Of course not! So why say I hate gays because i give the facts?

An another thing don't judge what you don't understand it is religous, ignorant judgemental bible thumpers like many of you, that are to busy judging others that you don;t try to get to know us. we are you sister, your brother, your mother, father. People are always scared of what they dont understand. There are many accounts of gays being persocuted in history. They were the concentration camps during the holocaust an were right besides jews. They were killed by tha same ppl who tried to wipe a nation. Because they were different an ppl didnt understand. People are always scared of what's different or what they dont understand. No one has the right to say whose lifesty;le is right or wrong. People need to shut there fucking mouths an not talk shit bout what they dont understand!

since you wanna talk bout what it says in the bible. in the book of Lev. it is written that " a man shall not lay down with a man" it says no where bout women aleeping with women. God loves everyone the same he gave us all the power to love an he told us in the book of matt. that it is not our place to judge. I was raised in a very religous home i went to church every sunday an sometimes on weds. I am in a committed realtionship with another female. i have prayed about my realtionship with my wife, i know that God will love me no matter what i chose. he already decided my path an he knows how it will end. I answer to no one but him.. An it is about love not gender. An if you are a christian it is not your place to judge any one else's lifestyle. straight men an women sin even worse with adultry, lying an sex before marriage so dont all holy when your life could use some straighting up. Fix your life an your problems before you try to fix what you think is wrong with others.

Why thanks, S Thomson. I thought it was pretty good, too.

Wow, Napier, you've abandoned all hope of anyone ever thinking of you as a Christian. That was a good argument, by the way. Did you get that from scripture, too? You should be ashamed.

Oh dear, the lunatics are running amok in the asylum again. Keep it up.

This sounds like a typical social religious dictator to me. Religion isn't the end all be all, and even if there is a God, you are not Him. Try being the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus, they are much easier to immitate, and you can have all the children you want.

Oh, and KB, you say that gays' behavior is "deadly and anti-social". By deadly, I assume you mean HIV, which can be passed just as easily between heterosexual partners. And by anti-social, are you implying that a homosexual can't have healthy friendships and social lives? My gay friends would probably argue quite forcefully with that assertion.

Jonathan, if homosexuals believed that they were wrong, wouldn't they choose a different lifestyle? Since studies have shown that some animals (dogs, cats, dolphins, etc.) show homosexual tendencies, I think it's simply a fact of nature. And Christians believe that God created us, and if God believes that homosexuality is a sin, then why would he create humans and animals to be homosexuals? Something about that doesn't track. While I'm straight, I still don't know why God would condemn any union between two people who love one another.

Rock on Telika! I totally agree that homosexuality is just another sin that must be faced and overcome through the power of Christ. I have heard many stories of people coming into a church environment and being run out due to their homosexual sins. Jesus died for us as sinners, and does not require us to be perfect to receive forgiveness. If this were the case, none of us would ever be able to know God. Homosexuals do not insist on their ability to understand the gospel because they want to promote their way of life, but because they truly do understand that Christ died for their sins. Unfortunately, they have not yet been healed of the scars that their lifestyle has left. You MUST trust those that say they are struggling with a sin. If someone will not admit that their homosexual practices are wrong, then they should be approached and instructed that homosexuality is a sin. Love God and love people

I am SOOO happy that someone finally has the temerity and the self importance to say that HE speaks on behalf of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. For all your bluster.. there is NOT ONE WORD in the scripture where Jesus Christ Himself says anything on the topic... NOT ONE.. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John... NOT ONE word. but since the author has a hotline to Jesus, he must know. THANK YOU for clearing that up.

In response to your reference to my comment (by the way, I would have appreciated and welcomed a citation of words), I did not say I wanted to cry reading the article because I think you are full of hate, or because I do no think homosexuality is a sun. I certainly do think that homosexuality is a sin. What upsets me is your approach. Jesus did not come to condemn, but to save. I would like to see all of my gay friends come to Christ. They all know what I believe, and I do not condone their sin. However, it is very clear in the Bible that all sin is gross. Do you not have sins in your life? Wouldn't God think that your sins are gross? Christ never said that you had to clean up your act completely before becoming a Christian, but your writing makes it seem like a gay person must stop all sin before Christ would love them. Christ ALREADY loves them! Just like he loves you, and he loves me, even though we are all sinners. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

More harm has been done in & to the world by religion & its purveyors than any other construct of man. Make no mistake about it religion is a construct of man's mind, an outmoded and almost useless one at this point in the world's scientific development. I will not argue about the bible, as fiction should have no bearing on public policy. I believe civil discourse is the only route to human understanding, however, it seems you are incapable of civility. It requires an open mind, more's the pity.

You must me a complete idiot if you think lesbian sex is about dildos. If you did your research, you would know that this is a stereotype offered to you by crappy American Pie style movies. You want to talk shit? Well, then stop reading and watching it and KNOW your material.

I love how you say I went off track, but then never actually say where. Not that I expected better...

are you kidding they don't know how to read... they turn their backs on all that is good... even knowledge! Good job Napier... sad to see you go--- I hope not for good... the more you can teach the men and women and even the 'wanna be' women (the nasty trans crowd) the better off they may be if they could ever see beyond themselves if only for a moment to see how disgusting and potentially deadly their behavior actually is...
