A Brief Exclusive Fable 2 Beta Review!

Finally! We got our hands on the exclusive beta of Fable 2 for the Xbox 360, and man! Was it worth the wait. Lionhead has brought forth all the aspects from the old Fable and made them even better with the addition of a several new systems, including improved character morphing and a pet system. The context sensitive fighting was a bit of a turn off at first but the combat more than made up for it with it's fast paced blood splattering action. Players will still be able to choose between Fighter, Ranger, or Mage but with many added spells and abilities. The Pet system will permit you to take a canine companion along with you for the journey, adding a whole new aspect of pet leveling and combat to the already extensive RPG elements. With the introduction of guns to your vast arsenal you'll have no trouble ripping through the baddies even without the inclusion of longbows. Fable 2 will also include an "unprotected" side of life. Yes, you now have the ability to choose whether you want to know up your spouse by including the choice between protected, or unprotected.
