You've graduated and now what do you do with your graduation cap? Here are some fun and creative ways to reuse your hard-earned graduation cap!

1) Fun Way to Reuse Your Graduation Cap:

After graduation take your favorite yearbook photographs of all four years and copy them. Use a copy machine if you prefer black and white photos. Use your computer, scanner, and printer if you prefer color photos. Next glue the photos to the top of your cap in a collage manner. Use either a glue stick or a hot glue gun.

Hang your graduation cap on your bedroom wall. Now you will have your favorite special memories of high school displayed in a convenient place for all to see. I bet you walk by and get lost in the memories of your friends and all of the good times you shared through the years.

Note: If you are especially crafty print the photographs on material and sew them onto your graduation cap. To print the photographs on material use iron-on transfer paper. Iron the transfer photo onto a t-shirt or material of choice. Cut out photos.

*With nylon graduation caps I do not think it would be wise to iron the transfer on as the material would most likely melt. That is why I would opt to stitch the photos onto the graduation cap.

2) Fun Way to Reuse Your Graduation Cap:

If you received the numbers of your graduation year or your letter from high school, stitch them onto your cap. For best results use a sewing machine or hire someone to sew them on for you. This way it will be a lovely memento and you will have all of your important keepsakes with you for years to come.

3) Fun Way to Reuse Your Graduation Cap:

Think Halloween! Decorate your cap as a Mardi Gras partier! Glue bead strands that hang down from the cap. Find fun trinkets to glue onto the cap that represent Mardi Gras.

Cut-.out the words Mardi Gras and the year it is out of construction paper. Put glue all over the letters and numbers. Next put your choice of glitter on them. Now you have a fun sparkly Mardi Gras hat to go with your Mardi Gras mask and costume.

Takeaways
  • Use Favorite Yearbook Photos For Special Memories On Your Cap.
  • Stitch Your School Letter and Graduation Year Numbers Onto Your Cap.
  • Halloween Costumes!

Great Ideas Cassandra. One note. In summer in the heat hot glue will let loose, try tacky glue, it has elasticity to it. Hugs Mary
