Is Too Much Sex Ruining Your Life?

Some of us can live without it and some of us cannot ever get enough. There are some women that even refrain from sex and dating for one month. This is called Sex Detox which is a way to put a fresh start to your live or to give it a jump start. It is also a way to recharge one's sexual desires.

For many couples sex has become routine and there is no intimacy anymore so by a person or persons giving up sex for a month can allow each person to step back and find ways to bring his or her partner more satisfaction and to bring back those nights of raw animal sex. Then there are some people who let dating and the sex take over their entire lives.

Recently on The Morning Show with Mike and Julie their guest was a 40 year old woman who was so obsessed with dating that she put her family and her own life on hold so she could concentrate more on dating. Once she realized how much dating had become the biggest part of her life she decided to begin the sex detox program. She was addicted to dating and she had been searching for Mr Right for 20 years. She was a serial dater.

During that first week of detoxing she stopped going on line to all of the dating websites that she went on daily. She even turned down many dates for Valentines Day. Dating had become like a drug to her and that is all she thought about. She did not even think about herself any at all. After the month of the detox was done she said that she had men coming out of the woodwork asking for a date. She said she felt like herself again and that she could concentrate on her work now and was able to get on with living her life. During the 20 years that she had been on this dating carousel she said that she did not even realize that she was being very picky in her choices of men to date. After going on the month of sex detox from dating she said she did find her Mr. Right.
