Hey Beautiful,

This was written to another friend but this is FYI but it is about Burma and the Karans too:

Hey ****,

You asked or said:

Please feel free to write more about what you think about religion - I'm interested to know. You said, "Don't waste your prayers on me" - but I don't think that prayers are ever wasted. Everyone needs help I think - at least I know I do! - even people who seem successful or seem like they're totally content, usually aren't. You briefly mentioned a Christian who told you that you and others who don't believe "his way" are going to hell. I must tell you that I believe that Jesus is the only way to God - we are too sinful to be able to come to a magnificent and perfect God on our own without an intercessor, and that is who I believe Jesus is.

I have been down this road before. Please take a look again, I know you can see and hear and even feel the effects of this "crusade'' (the Christian term) or "jihad" the Islamic term. At any rate people who profess a love for their God and traditions of their religion have come to hate, or have distaste for others who are different.

And so the devilish cycle of hate rolls on and on,, killing all and any that lays in its path. It sucks up people of a kind and gentle nature and sends them to a military boot camp of brainwashing to have the recruits become armored with holy books of all kinds a chosen weapons to kill the homosexual, the non believers, and to cleanse the land for their God and prophet. I KNOW this because I was the same way, till I grew tired of wondering why a God so good and loving who condemn HIS children to death.

All these words are found in the Bible and many other Holy Books too.
