The 16th season for Survivor concluded tonight. Four girls remained in a game that was filled with lies and deception and more blindsides than you could shake a hidden immunity idol at. Natalie, Cirie, Amanda, and Parvati competed in what they thought was the final immunity challenge. Amanda won, thus ensuring her a spot in the final tribal council. But during tribal, Jeff hinted that there would be no "final 3", and that it would be down to a final 2. The girls were obviously shaken, as they thought all along that the jury would decide amongst three of them; not two. So, with Amanda having immunity, she, Parvati, and Cirie stuck together one last time and voted out Natalie.

At the final challenge, the girls had to balance a ball on some pieces of metal, and added two pieces to each side every 5 minutes. Parvati lost her ball first and was done. Cirie and Amanda battled to the final round, but Cirie's concentration lapsed a bit and Amanda secured her spot in the finals. She ultimately decided to take Parvati with her, assuming that Cirie would be able to talk her way into a million dollars.

At the final tribal council, the jury members ripped into Parvati's game as the flirt, and most seemed to be on Amanda's side; except for Erik who was clearly hurt with the way Amanda took him out. Alexis and Natalie also appeared to be on the side of Parvati, but Amanda clearly had Ozzy (who professed he was in love with her), James, and Cirie in her pocket. That left Jason and Eliza to come up with a vote. Eliza was the most torn as she stood around trying to decide who to vote for for a long time.

When the votes were finally read, it was a 5-3 victory for Parvati. I was surprised and disappointed. I felt Amanda deserved to win more as she played a better game. She won a lot of challenges, and around camp, she did not cause as many problems as Parvati did. But, the game is to Outwit, Outplay and Outlast and Parvati sure did.
