A Great Rich and Wonderful Philosophy 36

The emphasis of the philosophy on the potential of the human mind gives great hopes for man to achieve excellence.Man makes make contribution without expecting any reward. He does it out of a sense of fulfillment. He is propelled by the inner forces anchored on the spirit and uses his faculties to give out his best. He doesn't need to be goaded to action. Thus is different from the carrot and donkey approach which in most cases drives man to act in the world. Doing work without expectations and cravings for reward brings out the best in man. The mind is totally focused on contribution. Energies are not dissipated. He accepts whatever is given to him and is contented. The mind is free from agitations and concentration on the task is facilitated. He is willing to share his wealth with others in a spirit of friendship.

Money does not lure hm.He is not a victim of corrupt tendencies. He is no a prey to temptations. He does work as duty and unlike monetary and non monetary incentives he needs no such prompting . This is attained after gaining control over his mind. Great leaders who moved the world have their actions rooted in this great philosophy of work and dedication. They were totally unselfish. What was beneficial to the community was beneficial to them.

They staunchly believed in doing their duty and did not crave for the results. But they were confident that having chosen the goal rightly and diverting their efforts, the goal would be attained. They were selfless and so could become real leaders. They had no axe to grind and the followers realized this and supported them. The mass base and strength enabled them to attain results. The larger interests of the organization or the country were kept in mind while undertaking activities. Their frugality, discipline and a spirit of sacrifice inspired the followers. They became effective role models.
