Enjoying Your Articles Old Friend

I suppose I should begin this by thanking Associated Content for allowing me to publish material.. I must also thank an Old Thespian named Ron, John my Spiritual adviser, Ray my AA Spenser, and the Queen Goddess. Thia group of folks got me to try writing to assist in improving my mental health. Add to that list the authors that are with Associated Content and have stroked my ego enough to encourage me to continue writing. Now gang don't get excited I'm not leaving anytime soon. I want to thank all these folks because it is a piece of the joy I experienced today.

Today I received an e-mail from an old High school chum. I almost deleted the message because I didn't recognize the author. The subject line read "Enjoying your articles old friend" and that intrigued me. To be honest until he mentioned his wife Mary I couldn't place Jack F. We drank together, raised hell together, and had made several dramatic memories together. I think our last encounter was at the 1999 class reunion and that didn't go well. I remember the feeling of that's why we call them old friends. We both had grown in different directions and clicking wasn't on the agenda for that night.

Jack is the second classmate that Associated Content has brought to the memory jog/reboot. My first love from High School "Moon Beam" also has contacted me because of my writing. I am cautious about her because the Queen Goddess can be a bit jealous at times. I chuckle The Queen Goddess has no problem with females authors praising me as long as they live in North Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Des Moines, or Virgina but when they are in Ohio I am cautious. Also since I have shared some of my history with the Queen Goddess she knows what life was like before I started walking the walk.

I know Associated Content is not perfect. I know there are days when I want to quit writing for them or anyone else. All this is what I call Normal. I also know as my dear friend Ray tells me if I put the good foot in front of the prosthetic foot and do the next right thing life will improve.
