Hillary Clinton's Quest for the Democratic Nomination Could Hurt Her Own Party

Hillary Clinton has vowed to stay in the race to the bitter end, regardless of the damage she certainly has to know she is doing to the admittedly slight chance of the Democrats actually being able to pull off what by all rights should have be a landslide victory of historic proportions. If a Democrat had presided over the litany of failures guaranteed to ensure that George W. Bush goes down in history as the worst President ever, you can be sure the GOP would already have a strong nominee and they would never have allowed two candidates to immolate the other like the Dems have done. It appears that merely destroying even the barest possible chance of saving America from the ravages of four more years of incompetency is not enough for Hillary Clinton. She is hell-bent on making sure that the last remaining dependable bloc of voters for her party are alienated to the point of leaving in droves. After all, if the Democratic Party gives their nomination to a scurrilous white woman with fewer delegates and a minority of popular votes, would that not be anything more than a confirmation that the party they have remained loyal to for most of this century is no less racist than the party of Lincoln they left behind?
