First, you'll want to call ahead to make sure that the Casino allows RV parking overnight. Rules and policies change, so even if you've camped at a Casino before, don't assume that they will allow free overnight camping again. If you're planning on staying more than one night, be sure the Casino will allow it. By calling ahead you'll be assured that you will not be turned away. This not only saves you embarrassment, but time, and expensive gasoline.
Before you get to a Casino that allows free RV parking, be sure to dump your holding tanks. Most Casinos don't have RV dump facilities. However, a few do provide dump stations either free, or at a nominal charge. With empty holding tanks, and frugal water, and electrical use, you can live in your RV comfortably in mild weather for two or three days. If you have a generator, you'll want to be considerate and not keep everyone awake all night while you power your TV set.
If you take your pet, and you plan on spending considerable time in the Casino, make sure your pet is safe from heat and cold. In many desert locations it may be cool at night, but the heat in your RV can build to dangerous levels in the daytime without adequate ventilation. The free RV parking space at a Casino usually doesn't include shade trees, so you do need to plan ahead for your pet's safety.
Park responsibly when you arrive. The Casino welcomes you as a valued guest, so be considerate and ask where the RV parking is allowed. You will not make a good impression if you take up prime parking spaces normally occupied by several vehicles. Most Casinos that allow RV parking will have an area you can park in comfortably.
