In other event news, a documentary of "Desert Hearts," the 1985 gay favorite among lesbians, is in the works. In the original the drama showed romance as hot and heavy.
"Fans will now have more cause to celebrate with the release of 'Desert Hearts Mon Amour' about the wide-reaching impact and influence of the film," writes Dallas Voice. "Featuring Director Donna Deitch, stars Helen Shaver and Patricia Charbonneau, as well as people like Michelle Clunie from 'Queer As Folk' and Daniela Shea from 'The L Word,' the movie is still in production."
In unrelated event news, Sunshine Glaze Art Studio in Southlake, TX will have Artrageous Adventure summer camp for children five and up and it'll be featured on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons all summer 1:30-3:30 p.m. Storytime with Sunshine is a popular toddler class for ages three to five and will be held Wednesday mornings also all summer from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The address is 405 N. In other news, over in Massachusetts, the MSPCA-Angell Animal Shelter reports a dire need of donations for their Blood Donor Program. Healthy cats and dogs can help less fortunate animals by becoming donors at Angell Animal Medical Center-Boston. Blood is urgently needed for critically ill and injured animals suffering from disorders like cancer or motor vehicle accidents and major surgery.
