I saw you there,
With a beauty so fair.
You I wanted to know,
But you turned to go.

I yelled, "Stop, wait for me!"
But you continued to flee.
"Why don't you stay?
Please don't go away!"

But you seemed not to hear,
While down my face trickled a tear.
You left me far behind,
And you I will never find.

Come back someday--come back to me,
Together forever, we will be.
Stay with me, no more to roam,
And make with me a beautiful home.

That's a beautiful poem. Sad but beautiful.
