Memorial Day Parades in Connecticut by City

Coventry, CT.

The Memorial Day Parade In Coventry, Connecticut takes place on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 10am. It is expected to disperse at noon, according to the town of Conventry.

Naugatuck, CT.

The Naugatuck Memorial Day Parade 20008 takes place on Monday, May 26, 2008. Time: 10am. This fun parade includes a float with George Washington and Betsy Ross, according to the Naugatuck Historical Society.

North Haven, CT.

One of the biggest Memorial Day parades in Connecticut is the North Haven Memorial Day Parade. It takes place on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 10:30am.

About 15 bands will be participating in the festivities including the Connecticut Hurricanes, the Lancraft Fife and Drum Corps and others.

The North Haven Memorial Day Parade begins at the North Haven Middle School, located at 55 Bailey Road in North Haven, Connecticut. The parade route brings marchers to Maple Avenue and Church Street, to the North Haven Town Green.

Norwalk, CT.

The annual Norwalk Memorial Day Parade in Connecticut takes place on the Memorial Day holiday, Monday, May 26, 2008. The parade begins at 9am.

This annual parade steps off at Veterans Memorial Park located at Seaview Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut. The marchers then head to Fort Point Street. From Fort Point Street the route continues on to Van Zant Street where it heads north onto East Avenue, according to the Norwalk Veterans Memorial Committee.

The parade ends at East Norwalk Cemetery. The stand is located at 99 East Avenue, which is a good place to watch the marchers.

Marching in this year's parade are teh Norwalk Police Department Honor Guard, the 82nd Airborne Division Association, the Grand Marshall, the Norwalk Fire Department Pipe Band, and local high school bands, scout troops, youth athletic teams and others, according to the Norwalk Veterans Memorial Committee.
