Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey Are Married

You know that guy that was on Nickelodeon for many years then got on MTV and had his own show called Whilin' Out, you know the comedian who has had his starred in movies like Underclassman, Love Don't Cost a Thing, and Drumline. Yes that's right, Nick Cannon. You many also know this talented female R&B artist who has sold more records in the 90's than any other female artist and has had hit after hit on the Billboard 100. Yes that would be Mariah Carey. Did you know these two were dating? Now would you ever guess that the odd couple got married? Well they did after just six short weeks of dating and it was shocking many others.

I grew up listening to Mariah Carey and I have seen here mature as a artist. I have also watched Nick Cannon growing up and I can't say the same about him, but he is a comedian so I can't expect to see him mature. Here laid back personality on tv is what fans always see and she almost seems quiet when she isn't hitting that high note singing. On the other side of the spectrum we have Nick Cannon. With his show on MTV he cracks jokes, performs funny skits, and occasionally strips to make a fool out of himself, so who ever would of thought the two would be in wed in holy matrimony?

The couple got Married on April 30^th, 2008 in the Bahamas at one of Mariah's estates. The wedding was kept very secret and very few people attended the wedding, about a dozen or so people were lucky enough to see the fairly odd couple get married. They even went far enough and got tattoos of each other signifying that they will be together forever. The ring the Nick Cannon was said to be the ring he took back from his previous fiancé Selita Ebanks, although Cannon denies it. What he can't deny is the fact that both rings look almost identical, but they are happily matters so that is what counts.

They are now having talks about having children so look at for a little Mariah, or a little Nick running around.

With all the celebrity marriages going around, this is one of the weirdest to me and every time I tell someone they are in a state of shock. I hope they are happy and expect to see the couple on the scene together a lot.
