Circulation
I am always cold, I could wear a sweater and socks even in summer. So when I heard that a cup of Ginger Tea would increase my circulation and have a lasting warming effect I had to give it a try. I was thrilled to find that the Ginger Tea does in fact have a wonderful warming effect. Ginger also soothes indigestion and decreases flatulence.

Goldenseal has been claimed to have some astounding properties, many of which are have been exagerated or shown to be unfounded. However for Pink eye and mild eye inflamation a Goldenseal eyewash can be quite effective. Steam a cup of Goldenseal Tea, let the tea cool completely, then using a sterile eye cup rinse the eye(s) with the tea.

Licorice is an amazing herb that has been shown to help heal ulcers and reduce inflammation. Licorice can be taken in capsule form or drunk as a tea. There is little risk of toxicity, but moderation is key. Cardic patients and pregnant women should avoid Licorice.
