Restaurant Review: Hyatt Regency Altitude in Denver, Colorado

Denver's mile high elevation was the inspiration for the name of Hyatt Regency's prestigious restaurant the Altitude. Located on the ground level of the Hyatt, the Altitude's floor to ceiling windows provides an amazing view of 14th Street. The seating is available in both individual tables and comfortable high backed booths which offer a little privacy. Their comfortably elegant atmosphere makes for a memorable dining experience for business meetings or family dinners. The Altitude is conveniently located in Denver's Downtown Business District at 650 15th Street. It is close to many of the area's most popular attractions including the State Capital, the Denver Art Museum and many sporting venues.

The Colorado Symphony Orchestra and Center of Performing Arts are within walking distance and it's situated beside the Convention Center. The location makes the Altitude the perfect spot for pre or post event dining!

The Hyatt Regency Altitude restaurant is open for breakfast from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. And, they serve breakfast until noon on the weekends.

The Altitude's breakfast menu features such items as sticky bun French toast and poached eggs in a pot. They also have several types of omelets to choose from along with smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels!

For a wide variety of breakfast items, try the breakfast buffet! Their breakfast pricing starts at around $5 for a yogurt smoothie and is $15 for items such as their Texas Benedict.

Lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every day of the week. Sandwiches range from their Ultimate Grilled Ham and Cheese to their Buffalo Brisket Reuben with sauerkraut.

You can also enjoy a variety of soups and starters such as Spicy Thai Shrimp Salad, Ceasar Salad, Sesame Seared Scallops and Black Bean and Buffalo Chili!

Other delicious lunch items Grilled Sage Chicken Breast, Open Faced Crab Meat and a Hot and Spicy Beef Wrap! Lunch prices range anywhere from $8 for the starter menu up to $24 for entrees.
