Remember that pickup truck with all of the state bumper stickers piled on the back? It belonged to my parents. Many people collected fridge magnets, glass bells, and even spoons from each state they visit. My parents collected bumper stickers. Our truck often reminded me of a suitcase covered in stickers from all of the places the traveler had been.

Nowadays bumper stickers aren't quite so popular. Many people are too worried about ruining the paint job on their car or having their car look tacky. It's too bad. If it were up to me I'd say that everyone should be required to have at least one bumper sticker on their car at all times.
