It's all in House's head. No... Literally, it's all in House's head, and we have seen this type of drama elsewhere. I suppose you can call these hallucinations "dream sequences," but Part 1 of the season finale of House definitely played out well due to these sequences. Sometimes shows overdo it a bit with dream sequences, but not here, House was in an accident and he is simply trying to figure out what the main problem is, or problems, however you want to look at it.House receives a lap dance in a strip club, but he looks all banged up and confused. He doesn't know why he is there, and it's quite clear that he has a head injury. House believes that someone is going to die, and he must urgently get to them. As House walks out of the strip club, he sees a crazy accident scene, with a bus on its side. House realizes that he was on that bus, but he cannot remember the person who needs him.
Back at the hospital, the bus driver has all kinds of problems; he can't move his legs; he can't stand up without his stomach burning in excrutiating pain, etc. But House knows that there is something more because there is a mysterious woman that continues to show up in his hallucinations. While this mystery woman gives House clues everytime they are together in his hallucinations, everyone back at the hospital thinks House is going crazy, and Wilson orders an MRI of House's head. As the test is going on, House and Wilson discuss Amber, Wilson's girlfriend. Now this is where Part 1 gets interesting...
While House goes from reality to hallucination, he gets as much out of each visit as possible. During one of the hallucinations, Cuddy dances around the bus pole as her and House discuss the possible ilnesses that the bus driver may have. When Parkinson's disease comes up, House's mystery woman reappears and tells House that she is the answer. House can't get a word in before he is dragged back into reality. House is helped out of the water by his team as he pukes all over Cuddy. House passes out.
