The island offers the visitor three fishing piers. Anna Maria city offers the City Pier and the Rod and Reel Pier on Tampa Bay, whilst you will find the Brandenton Pier at the end of Bridge Street in the south of the island.
If you seek a professional charter then you will not be disappointed. Several rentals and private hires are available throughout the island for both off-shore sport fishing and deep sea fishing. You can arrange a complete package, so the only thing you need to bring is your lunch. You can also launch your own craft at the Kingfish Ramp in Holmes Beach.
If you charter with a professional Captain you can be sure to be taken to the best locations off-shore to find catches in depths of up to one hundred foot. A perfect way to ensure you do not leave empty handed.
