Kyle Busch: Too Immature for Nascar?
Every Sunday 43 drivers get in their cars and race for the checkered flag and the win. Every Sunday 43 drivers risk their lives driving their cars for the win. Driving a stock car isn't just fun and games, it takes skill, concentration and most of all maturity and respect for the track
and your fellow drivers.
After an incident with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch has received a lot of flak from the Jr. Nation. In response Kyle Busch has decided to taunt the fans and continue to drag out the issue. How does he taunt the fans? By bowing during driver introductions and after winning a race. Bowing when you've won the race is never a bad thing, although what drivers do after winning a race is becoming almost as scripted as what WWE Wrestlers do when they enter the ring or win a match. The bowing during driver introductions is what is immature. It's a symbolic F-You to the Jr. Nation.
This is very concerning because responding to the fans in such a manner just drags out the matter. This incident would have been forgotten within a week if Kyle had decided to not respond. Instead he's decided to play games and keep harassing the fans about it, and guess what the fans will continue harassing back.
How does this reflect on him as a driver? Well if he feels the need to retaliate against the fans because he gets booed at the track, what happens if someone spins him out on purpose? Will he act like older brother Kurt Busch and ram him car into the other car? Will he get out of the car and try to start a fight? Will he wait to the next week and spin the other car on purpose? If he can't control himself in regards to the fans, what makes anyone think he can control himself on the track as well?
Kyle Busch is what a dangerous driver to have out on the track. One that lacks maturity and respect for the sport. People say he gets excused because he's young, but that argument doesn't stand up because he's not riding a bike around a track. He's driving a powerful machine that can cause serious injuries and even death around the track!
