Hair Dye Can Become a Form of Hair Abuse

Hair dye is a wonderful invention. Hair dye is sold off the shelf for in home use. Hair dye is used in a controlled environment at the beauty salon. Hair dye is used more by women then men. If your hair doesn't look anything like your birth given locks..chances are you dyed it. If you
have a dozen or so different colors in your hair-hair abuse may be a concern. Hair dye is used to hide those wisps of wisdom, or gray streaks. What can happen to your hair from hair abuse is shocking. Did you know your hair could fall out?

Hair color or dye is produced in a wash out formula and a permanent treatment. It's not really very permanent . As one must continue the process at 6 to 8 week intervals. The wash out type, will last 4 to 6 weeks without the harsh chemicals. The use of these products is rather safe when applied as directed. Hair abuse is a major concern if you are one to apply more often, changing your hair color each month. If your family and friends don't recognize you at first--due to hair dye, with excessive color change...you are abusing your hair! Does your hair match the color stated on your drivers license? If you have 6 different colors in your hair--what color do you pick to list on your drivers license? Is your hair black, brown, red, or maybe blond? What color is it now? What color was it last month? What color is it "suppose" to be?

Hair dye should be used to refresh your mane. Hair dye should not be use as a form of torture to your locks. Many girls and women use hair dye as a torture tool. Hair abuse can be seen at stores, at work, and within your own family. Hair abuse may be seen by looking in the mirror. Are you guilty of hair abuse? Do you over color? Do you mix and match hair dye colors and brands?

Points well taken. I use the cover up liquid dye in the tube to touch up grey areas around my hairline when I really care to do so.

Oh gosh, I'm guilty. I'm a dark brunette, that has gone lighter as I get older and have highlights!!!? Good article though Toni. Good to see you writing. I'm just starting to comment again some after a bad bout with my fibro. Hope to be writing again very soon.
