Whitefence.com offers the consumer an edge with their new internet tool that allows users to compare prices, rates and discounts offered by utility companies. Never did this come at a better time with the soaring costs of fuel, and the effect that these rising fuel costs are having on all other aspects of the economy. Not only does it connect you with valuable information, it allows you to one-stop-shop for all of your utility bills while searching for a company, changing a company because of relocation or cost, and all with the simple input of one field: your address.

Whitefence.com is very user-friendly and has three main sections with easy links to what it is that you would like to do. You are given choices that range from lowering your bills to shopping for new services. There are over twenty companies that are currently involved in the project and I anticipate that number will grow as the site gains in popularity. The fact is that consumers want to save on the cost of their bills, and this is a valuable tool that can help them to do so.

There is something called the white fence index, which allows consumers to find the average cost of bills within their city. I found it interesting that the cost of my bills are over this average, I am absolutely going to take advantage of the tools offered through white fence to lower my monthly expenses. This is invaluable in the market offered today, to have tools such as this readily available on the internet.

I will use White fence in accordance to the things that I am presently doing to compare bills, and save money on my monthly utility costs. When an offer arrives in the mail for a new phone, or cable company I call that company to compare rates. If the rates are lower, than I would consider a programming switch so I was able to save money.

Many are unaware, but if you phone the cable company and explain the high costs and that you are going to switch companies the cable company will often give you an incentive to stay with them such as ten percent off of the services for one year. There is no harm in asking, and it can only save you money in the long run.
