You are "Niko Bellic", in the newest edition of the GTA series, GTA IV. The graphics in this game are stunningly realistic. If you have ever felt guilty about playing "shoot 'em up" games, this game will surely send you on a guilt trip. It is hard to distinguish the scenery on the game from that of the real world. Maybe it's the fact that you fly through the windshield when you get into a serious car crash, or maybe it's the blood sprayed on your hood when you hit a pedestrian; but whatever the aspect is, the developers did an amazing job creating the graphics.

The game play is a little difficult to master at first, the driving in particular. You cannot speed through the city at ridiculous speeds, while dodging everything imaginable, as in previous GTA games. Due to the realism, you will hit more cars, pedestrians, and other objects while driving around Liberty City. There are not as many straight-aways as well where you can pick up the mind blowing speeds. However, within a few hours of solid game-playing, one should be able to attain a mediocre driving skill and feel confident navigating their way around the city.

If you do not like driving though, you can always take a cab. Some improvements over previous GTA games would be, you are able to climb ladders, you can target someone while moving the crosshair over different areas of the body, you do not lose your weapons when you die, and you have a cell phone you can use to call other people! If you get bored doing missions you can call up your cousin Roman and go out for a few drinks or play pool with him. The activities in the game include: darts, pool, strip clubs, bowling, going to a bar, going to a show, and these are just a few of the many activities you can take your friends or dates to. The new radio stations on GTA IV are incredible, the chat radio is funnier than ever and the music is outstanding.

This game is extremely enjoyable without cheats, I believe cheats on this game simply take away from the gaming experience. I have used them on other GTA games and seriously reccomend against them on GTA IV
