What Race is Barack Obama? Barack Obama Age? Barack Obama Religion?

These are some of the hot questions folks are typing into search engines according to Yahoo's Buzz log titled President Barack Obama? ever since Barack Obama's Sunday morning "Meet the Press" appearance where Barack hawked his new book, The Audacity of Hope.

After Obama said he was open to thinking about a run for the White House in 2008, people are hot on his trail to find out info about Obama's wife, age, religion and the like.

I already know Barack is 45, biracial (with a Kenyan dad and mom from Kansas) and that his wife Michelle is an amazing lady.
All I wanted to know was: Is Barack Obama pro-life?

Unfortunately, the Google-butt out there claims Obama's voting record shows he's "100% pro-choice, even including late-term, partial-birth abortions."

Say it ain't so, Barack... Please!! Hurry and say it ain't so!

...but looks like it is, according to the October 23, 2006, issue of Time sitting open on my computer desk, all marked with black ball-point underlines, with a Barack Obama cover article and the excerpt from his book that quotes Obama as telling a pro-life man that Obama is a Christian.

As far as supporting the murder of babies, Obama said: "I told him I understood his position but had to disagree with it. I explained my belief that few women made the decision to terminate a pregnancy casually...that I feared a ban on abortion would force women to seek unsafe abortions..."

Barack is fair and honest in his struggles over the issue, and I'm glad he gave the pro-life man time and heard him out, though Barack said that "neither my mind nor my heart changed that day."

Barack does admit to changing the staunch pro-abortion speak on his website, though, which he claims was written by his staff, but is still pro-choice. Pro-choice. Such a nice word for such a horrific procedure...

Mr. Obama, may I now lead you on over to my "We Had Abortions, Too...And Now We're Pro-Life" piece?

For the weaker of mind, Pro-Life and Pro-Choice are not opposites. You have been listening to the Reactionary Altered Reality Machine for too long. Pro-Life means that one believes in the sanctity of life, all life. Pro-choice means that the Government does not have the right to interfere in personal procreation decisions. People who whine about dead babies and claim to be Pro-Life are most often too willing to accept post-birth abortions. A government that has established the right to prevent abortions has set the precedence that they have the power to regulate reproductive personal decisions hence, the power to require abortions. I am Pro-Life, completely, for all life, and I am Pro Choice in that I believe that the Federal Government does not have the right to determine how I use my body. If the Anti-Abortion groups really wanted to end abortions by law they would push though an amendment to place in the constitution a definition of when protected life begins. Perso

We have become a selfish country when all we can do is think about is the economy and the war. If more children are allowed to be put up for adoption in our country, that stimulates our economy, think on those lines. Future generations flurish........this is just one senereo.

More important than giving a child a life. A life where he/she can learn and grow? I promise you that the God that made all of us is horified by these terrible acts of indecency. Im sure he finds a way for those children, but He is still horrified that anyone would try to thwart his wonderful plan for all of us. And yes I prmoise you I've seen the ugly side of life as well.... It's not all choclate covered pnies and unicorns out there. Do what's right folks....... Please......

There are far more important issues than abortion. How about our failing economy? our failing health care system? (the worst in the civilized world) the wasteful war in Iraq? Let us stop voting on "hot button" issues like this and start being concerned with the real issues that face this country.

WELL. i think that she is 100% right. I strongly support Pro-Life. Murder is murder. I think that murder is tens of times worst when commited in an abortion than if commited in many of the other circumstances. So why, may i ask, are so many people for abortion these days? When has it ever been okay to murder an innocent person, a person whose life is worth as much as mine or yours? I'll tell you why people are accepting abortion more and more in todays world-The people of today are accepting abortion, murder, more and more because THE WORLD HAS BECOME SELFISH AND VERY SELF-CENTERED. These people, in a majority of abortion cases, would rather terminate a soul than take responsibility for their actons. That's really all i have to say.

Okay I have something to say about abortions! I think they should be legal. Number one reason picture being a woman and you get raped and become pregnant by some hideous god awful man that raped you. You don't want to have that baby! Dad's who impregnate their daughters...it's commonly out there. Prostitutes or drug addicts who can't take care of a baby. Those are reasons for abortion. But I am against those girls who are sexually active, get pregnant, and don't want to deal with their consquences.
