General Birth Announcement:

The easiest way to make a photo birth announcement, is in card form. You can buy photo paper is several sizes, however for an announcement card you will need 4" X 5" photo paper. You can easily find envelopes to fit this size in, and it's a good general size. You will need to scan of take a digital picture of the baby for your card. Next using photo shop or a similar program, crop your photo to size, then add the text at the bottom. Depending of what program you have you might be able to add borders, and other decorative details. Once you have your photo and information ready to print, give it one last look over. Information such as babies full name, date of birth, time of birth, weight, height, boy / girl, and birth place. If your baby has older siblings you might want to consider adding their name to the card. EXAMPLE: Abby Smith the little sister of Ann Smith. You can also make the siblings known by writing something like "Baby Brother" instead of "It's A Boy".
