The Ionic Breeze Quadra is an air purifier that runs silently in your home. My nephew Jason has one, and he sold me on it. The air purifier I had was noisy, it sounded like a window air conditioner going all the time. I have asthma and need to have a purifier that will take all the dust and pollen out of the air.The Ionic Breeze Quadra cleans the air in your home by trapping and filtering all the dust and pollen particles out of the air. I have one for the main part of the house and I have a small one that sits on a stand in my bedroom. It truly is amazing. When my nephew told me about the Ionic Breeze Quadra, I had no idea that it would actually work. It's silent, after all, so how could I tell. Jason assured me that it does work. When the Ionic Breeze is turned on negative ions are activated, which then attracts everything in the air that has a positive charge.
If you pull out the collection blades after a few days you will see a lot of soot has collected on them. It is important that you clean these blades once a week, or at least before a two week period has gone by, so that the machine can continue to collect positively charged particles. All you have to do is turn the machine off and take out the collection blades and wipe them off with a damp cloth. Also when you are cleaning the Ionic Breeze Quadra, be sure to turn the main housing upside down and right side up several times so that the ionizing wires get clean.
The Ionic Breeze Quadra comes with an ozone guard. This particular model does not trap bacteria, but there is a model that does. The Hybrid/GP comes with special UV lamps within it that zaps the bacteria. Mother's with children, who are concerned with bacteria in the air that constantly, have a cough or runny nose might want to purchase the Hybrid/GP model. I am very happy with my Ionic Breeze Quadra Professional, and I don't plan to upgrade to the Hybrid unless something happens to my Quadra, then I will certainly upgrade.
