You probably have a lot of friends, chances are, you, they or some of them don't have the same taste in music. Now you could say, "Well, it's my party I'll play what I want too", but that's not very hospitable now is it? I've found the best way to keep everybody happy at a 4th of July party is to keep a variety and try to stick to well loved classics or songs for drunk people to sing along too, keep personal choice and your-genre-only choices to a minimum. Think German beerfest with American spirit.

Here's a sample of a playlist I might use, if I wasn't too drunk and simply placed my laptop on shuffle, then locked it down so no one could go Backstreet Boy playing on me.

War- Low Rider

Foreigner- JukeBox Hero

Guns and Roses- Paradise City

James Brown- I feel Good

Metallica- Where ever I may roam

Green Day- American Idiot

Queen- We are the Champions

Nine Inch Nails- I'm afraid of Americans

Corey Hart- I wear my Sun glasses at night

NOFX- Franco Unamerican

Ozzy- Mama, I'm commin' Home

Pink Floyd- Another brick in the Wall

Police- Roxanne

Presidents of the United States- Peaches

Red Hot Chili Peppers- Californication

Rehab- Sittin' at a bar

Foreigner- Eye of the Tiger

NOFX- Bottles to the ground

Rolling Stones- Paint it Black

Rob Zombie- More Human than Human

Ramones- We don't need no Education

The Doors- People are Strange

Bad Religion- The American Jesus

Billy Joel- We didn't start the fire

I could continue randomly picking good, everyone songs from my massive play library, but I think you get the idea. Have a wonderful fourth of July, and Good Luck!
