Relevant Content or a McChicken?
To Publish or Not to Publish? to Pay or Not to Pay? Relevant or Ridiculous?

I recently tried to publish some content on AC with monetary consideration and was told that it was memoir content and not suitable for payment. I can understand how some things may not be relevant for a reader; however I see a flip side. The flip side being it is a payment of three to twenty dollars. People pay thousands to have memoirs published of famous faces, so why not publish on associated content? They say that the information in articles must be able to help or provide the reader with relevant information. Then let me ask you this, would you jump out of an airplane without first asking someone "How was it for you?"? I am pretty sure that most of us have spoken to a friend or maybe even a stranger about a choice we were thinking of making. Why do we do that? Well we do that because the opinions of others help us to make choices. Whether we would care to admit it or not. There is not one person in this world that has ever made some large decisions without first consulting friends or people with knowledge in that area. My knowledge happens to be in self-worth, faith, salvation, Christianity, religion, and issues such as pre-marital sex and parenting. However the personal stories and trials of what I have gone through, based on the managers here at AC have been deemed un-useful to you the reader. They are useful enough to publish without payment, yet not useful enough for a $3.00 payment.
