5. It Looks CoolThe Nintendo Wii looks sleek, small, and dare I say sexy, in any room of your home. I also purchased a wiimote chargind station that hooks onto the actual unit, and it glows a piercing LED blue that fills the room when I turn it on. It's almost like tricking out a car. Don't get me wrong, the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 look awesome, but the Wii is just sooooooo small.
4. It's extremely Cheap
Although pretty much all it does is play video games, the Wii blows the other two next-gen system options out of the water when if comes to cost. And who doesn't own a DVD and CD player by now?
3. Its Gameplay is Far More Superior Than Other Systems
I mean, sure, the graphics of an Xbox 360 can't even compare to that of a Wii, but I'd take better gameplay over just another gorgeous first person shooter any day of the week. Most Wii games are innovative, creative, colorful, and addicting. With a Wii, you won't look over at your game shelf to see that half of it consists of first person shooters. Nintendo is currently working on more mature-rated games for their audeince, first person shooters included.
2. Its Online Play is FREE
...Enough said.
1. It's Backward-Compatible With Gamecube Games
Most nintendo fans already own a gamecube, and the Wii has a place on the top of the unit for gamecube controllers and a memory card. Gamecube game discs go into the same slot as Wii games, and the best part about it is that if you already own a Gamecube, you only need your Wii plugged in to play both games.
