Ice Road Truckers Season 2 Set to Premiere on June 8 at 9 PM Eastern/8 PM Central on the History Channel

For all of you die hard Ice Road Truckers fans the wait for Season 2 is almost through. Season 2 will sport four returning Ice Road Truckers from last year as well as three new faces on the ice roads. This year, however, our truckers with nerves of steel won't be driving the same ice roads as last season. Instead, they will be trucking an ice road a little further north.

Returning this season is Hugh Rowland, known as "the polar bear" among the ice road truckers. Hugh, as you may recall, had some serious issues with drivers last year. Two of those drivers, Rick Yemm and Drew Sherwood who quit on him, are also back this season, but with a twist: they are on equal footing with Hugh. Hugh is not their boss this time around. Also returning this season is Alex Debogorski, a fan favorite and father of 11 children.

The three new faces this year are Bear, described as a former lumberjack who allegedly resembled Smokey the Bear. Also trucking this year is Eric, an avid outdoorsman and Davey, an Arctic survival expert who is native to the area in the Arctic Circle where the men will be trucking this season.

In Season 2 of Ice Road Truckers, fans will see these 7 hardy men take on roads that cross over the Arctic Ocean. Last season, the ice road consisted of frozen lakes that were navigated on roads built between portages. This road will be sure to challenge our crew as they rush to deliver heavy machinery and other supplies to companies that are pursuing natural gas products.
