Australia is Home to Some Beautiful National Parks

Many people would love to take a trip to Australia because it is very beautiful and it is a country with lots to do and to see. In Australia people can go to a zoo and see many kangaroos and koala bears. Kangaroos and koala bears are very cute. In fact, many zoos have koala bears that they get from Australia. However, besides kangaroos and koala bears Australia has great beaches and beautiful parks.

When people think of Australia they most likely think of kangaroos, koala bears, Steve Irwin, who was known as the Crocodile Hunter, Paul Hogan who was known as Crocodile Dundee, shrimp on the barbee, the Sydney Opera House, the 2000 Olympics, Nicole Kidman, and Olivia Newton. However, perhaps people are not aware that Australia has some lovely parks. One of Australia's most beautiful parks is called William Bay National Park. This national park is located on the South East coast of Australia. This national park contains many varieties of plants and trees such as the Karri tree, the wattie tree, and the peppermint tree. There are also beautiful plants in this national park such as the yellow-flowered cut leaf hibbertia and the sword sedge. There are also many flowers around William Bay such as the Yellow Flowered Coastal Daisy and many kinds of creamy white flowers that grow on many of the plants and shrubs in Australia.

Australia is also surrounded by water and is well known for its beautiful beaches and blue crystal clear water so it makes sense that William Bay National Park would also have a beach and an area called Greens Pool. Greens Pool located at William Bay is extraordinary and stunning because the granite rocks that reach out toward the water is backed up by a narrow beach that has steep and sandy slopes. On the beach very few of the Australian plants can survive because of large winter storms. However, Greens Pool is quite a sight to behold in Australia. Therefore visitors to Australia should go to Greens Pool in William Bay.
