The Historical City of Alwar in the State of Rajasthan in India

Rajasthan is the State of India that is full of many historical cities and the tourists interested in ancient Indian History can find it interesting to visit such cities. City of Alwar is one of such historical cities of Rajasthan. It has an area of 45 square kilometers. The maximum
 temperature during the summer season remains at 37 degrees C. and the minimum temperature in winter is 10 degrees c here. That means the weather is quiet balanced here all throughout the year.

Alwar is located at around 100 miles away from Delhi. It is enclosed by many forests and the Mountains range of Arvalli all around it. The natural beauty of this area is the most eyes catching during the rainy season in particular. There are also many varieties of the birds in the forests near the city of Alwar. Alwar was the oldest state of Rajasthan and was ruled by the Matsya rulers. The ancient city of Virat, presently known as Vairat is situated around 40 miles away from the city of Alwar. This was the city where the Pandava brothers stayed during their hidden stay in the forest for the last one year. This was the reason why Matsya rulers supported Pandavas in the Mahabharata war. Alwar is well connected by trains from Delhi. The luxury trains like Shatabdi Express, Marudhar Express, and Mandor Express pass through Alwar. It may not be very convenient to reach Alwar by air as the nearest airport of Delhi is around 100 miles away.
