Catholics usually have a bad rap with people from other religions, including other Christians. Many times, this judgment is based on ignorance and/or lack of knowledge. Whatever the reason, Catholics don't have to feel so alone outside of the church doors. Here are a few Catholic Web sites that can bring a sense of community to Catholics who feel distant in their faith.

1. Pewsitter

www.pewsitter.com is a great source for Catholics to read about the latest news within the church, the country and the world. Topics range from abortion stories to overturned laws to polls regarding worldwide viewpoints. Geared towards Catholics, this site can also educate non-Catholics on general information regarding religion and politics throughout the world. This site publishes the latest news and targets the issues that are important within the Catholic church and its community. If ever there was a Web site to educate people about Catholicism, this would be it!

2. GodTube

www.godtube.com is not just for Catholics. GodTube is the YouTube equivalent for more religious people. However, this site has far more to offer than YouTube. In addition to many great videos (some touching, some comical), the site offers a virtual Bible, a prayer wall and various groups and ministries. It is a great way for all Christians to come together and praise God. The site provides insight and resources for youth leaders and others who are involved in various church groups. Instead of watching the filthy, corrupted television (a.k.a "The Tube") shows that are plastered on big screen t.v.s, log on to GodTube and see what is really important.
