There could be the winding of some stream
Or some fussing in ears
Asking about nothing but troubles
Yet as they start the move sets in
In midstep
There could be the sewing of a button
Upon a dress needing mended
The noise goes from a growl to a roar
Every can move in lines of whispers
In midstep
The hand can be open for all to take
What is offered unto then today
Everybody becomes silent homages paid
Let us a listen inside each other
In midstep
The late afternoon is so quiet-hush
After cricket-songs rest their eyes-wings
Child and mother lie awake above sleep
Their faces show only peace because they are
In midstep
A door opens up to us every moment
Lay your hands upon the keyhole
Such treasureland exists inside yourself
Pearls to touch-feel for all these years
In midstep
Nature has its own reasons to sway
Changing with every moon-breath breathe
Shining on those who never die a death
Learning is above, yet love does sustain
When it rests in the middle of nighttime
In midstep
Digging our holes to forget the past
Seems to view sentient beings as gone
Already dying but never living living-life
Look at your dirt we are fashioned from it
In midstep
Earth admits it is a sacred vibe-heart
Beating for each on of us who has no noose
Wrapped 'round our souls screaming evil
Mindful Essence has its life and so do you
In midstep
Even the eagle flies his own course-now
No one give direction of path-freedom
Leave body behind become spirit wind
Forever prayer always always always
walking
In midstep
