Introducing Dallas to Crunk & B Artist 2 1 4

Metroplex Crunk Invasion at Club Vain in Dallas on Aug 14th

The Dallas & Fort Worth Metroplex is about to get the ‘Crunk" experience of a lifetime. August 14th, at Club Vain, Coz recording artist "2 1 4" will be performing songs from their forthcoming album, Crunk & B.

This isn't your ordinary boy band. These young men are a delight to all ages, races, and cultures. Yeah, they're cute. But, don't expect bubbly good looks and orchestrated vocals from this awesome foursome. They are a powerhouse team of dancing, singing and swaggering delight. They are

the definition of Crunk; if that word is a novelty toyou.

Hollywood, Ramzi, Pooh and DC are the elements of this combustible group.

Hollywood and I met several years ago while taking a class for broadcasting. It was apparent then that this brotha would excel beyond the basics of a microphone. His skills are honed to that of any seasoned professional. But, his drive is something "turbo" would envy.

I had the opportunity to see Hollywood and Ramzi perform as backup dancers for the group H-Town. Apparently David La Chappelle doesn't know about them or they would have been featured in his movie "Rize". These brotha's ain't no joke. So, don't go to this show expecting juvenile, aerobic antics. You will be tired, inspired and motivated to want to see more.

The group as a whole is quite impressive. With sounds that are reminiscent of Boy II Men, H-Town and St. Lunatics, it is my opinion they will be true contenders for the next thing in boy bands.

What puts them over the top? The fact that they're young? No. The fact that they're fine as hell? Nope. The fact that you can sit down and listen to their CD with any member of your family and not feel like you're disrespecting your grandparents or aiding to the delinquency of minors? BINGO!!!Don't get me wrong. It's not called Crunk & B for nothing. The beats will make your grandparents want to get down and get funky. The thumping bass coupled with sexy melodic rhythms is the stuff legends are made of. And trust me folks, these young men are on their way.
