What does the word psychic really mean?  Isn't it someone that hears a word from God?  Since I was a child, I was always taught that psychics are evil and not good people.  I used to attend a born again Christian church when I was a child and I knew in my heart that I was called to be a prophet.  Many members of the church supported my call and I was convinced that God wanted me to help people through my prophetic gift.

Each day I would read the Holy Bible and ask God to make it clear as to what he wanted me to do.  I actually attended seminary and I was an assistant pastor of a church as well.  I knew that I was called to help people from a prophetic realm and not just from a pastoral realm.  How would I be able to support myself as a prophet though I asked myself?

I knew that the church supported pastors and missionaries with a salary.  However, prophets were not supported financially and often looked down upon because of the skepticism of their personal calling.  My calling actually burned inside of my heart and I knew that I had to work in my calling full time.

I was a full time soldier, pastry chef, supply clerk, assistant pastor at different times in my life.  I held many different job titles, but I was never able to find pleasure in any of the work that I did.  I said to myself that there must be some way for me to work in my calling and to be able to get paid for it.

I tried for years to find a "house of the prophets."  I wanted to find a place that would financially support me for the work that I did.  After all, I was beginning to do prophetic readings and I wanted to help people.  I needed to do this work full time because my heart told me that God wanted me to do this on a full time basis.

Takeaways
  • Many Prophets are callinng themselves Christian Psychics today.
  • Christians are responsible for financially supporting its prophets.
  • If you don't support God's prophets, he will find others that will.
Did You Know?
Most Christian psychics don't get paid for doing prophetic readings.
