experience with other fans. However, shortly after, Prince's recording company, NPG, demanded the videos to be taken out of youtube, claiming copyright infractions.

The controversy of this copyright claim erupted recently when Radiohead's frontman, Thom Yorke, implied in an interview that it should be Radiohead's right to block or unblock "Creep" from the web, since it is their composition. In fact, it is not clear why NPG is claiming rights for these videos. Afterall, the videos were recorded by fans, and "Creep" was not composed by Prince. Ironically, not even Radiohead had access to watch the video recordings of Prince's "Creep" blocked from the web.

On the morning of May 31, a day after Yorke's comments became public, there were three videos of Prince's "Creep" on youtube. One of the video posts read defiantly, "because Creep belongs to Radiohead. And Prince doesn't walk on water." However, by the early evening these videos were already blocked again by NPG.

We shall see in the near future how this legal controversy resolves. In the meantime, keep checking for the footage on the web, since it seems to be appearing intermittently, avoiding NPG's constant guard.
