The Iraq war has cost America a lot of losses but nothing compares to the amount losses in human life due to the war. The number one point on the article states that "the human cost of the war is unacceptable." It talks about how an estimated 100,000 Iraqis and more than 2,345 occupation troops, including 2,140 U.S. military personnel are dead. It also says that these numbers rise daily. The impact of these amounts to me is great. Quite frankly I never truly understand why innocent people need to die including precious Americans. I do not understand how the fight for democracy has to lead to killings and continuous deaths. It's beyond my scope of reason to understand how a war that wants to change people's lives has wasted so many people.
