The U.S. is known for its strong patriotism. It's very comfortable in its laws and environment. After Sept 11th our motives changed from an America only mentality to improving democracy in the world. This is the main excuse of America going into Iraq, but is it right? Just like we are comfortable in our environment, the Iraqi's are also comfortable in their government. Therefore we should not take them away from their comfort zone. In the article, "Ten Reasons Why the U.S. Must Leave Iraq," a well supported basis of our losses because of the Iraq war and our lack of time efficiency concerning the war is implemented. I will be supporting this basis and giving my opinion on the impact of the war and my feelings towards it.

The Iraq war has cost America a lot of losses but nothing compares to the amount losses in human life due to the war. The number one point on the article states that "the human cost of the war is unacceptable." It talks about how an estimated 100,000 Iraqis and more than 2,345 occupation troops, including 2,140 U.S. military personnel are dead. It also says that these numbers rise daily. The impact of these amounts to me is great. Quite frankly I never truly understand why innocent people need to die including precious Americans. I do not understand how the fight for democracy has to lead to killings and continuous deaths. It's beyond my scope of reason to understand how a war that wants to change people's lives has wasted so many people.

Takeaways
  • The iraq war does not slove anything
  • six points on how our plan cannot help
  • the point of vie of the iraqis
Did You Know?
82% of the Iraquis do not want America on their soil

No, you're wrong. Iraqi's are very glad we are there. They are getting real jobs now and a government is being established. Iraqi's now know freedom. They are not away from fear, but then again no one is really in a safe place ever anywhere. The resistance fighters are barely Iraqis. Many have come from Saudi Arabia and other countries adjacent to Iraq. The reason we can not win this war right away is because of our moral values, as in not nuking the shit out of it, or just bombing everything. We're there to help obviously, and to protect ourselves. Notice, you said 20,000 fighters right? Most of them there because of man-made hatred that is there because of religion. Now, if our soldiers and marines and sailors were not there to reveal all of these nazis, we would be totally oblivious to the danger we are truly in. Imagine what it would be like had we not gone to iraq, most of those people against america from the beginning, some joining the force because of other odd things from the w
