Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts: Natural Snacking for Toddlers

As the mother of a toddler I am always on the lookout for healthy treats for my son. Gerber, a trusted name in baby and toddler foods, has a new product on the market called Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts. Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts are a unique snack for
toddlers and older infants. My son loves Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts and thankfully I am quite happy with the product as well.

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts are a solid, non-messy food that can be eaten by a toddler with ease using the fingers. The little bites looks like tiny meringues and come in three varieties: Mixed Berries, Peach, and Strawberry. The Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts packaging advertises "99% real yogurt and fruit." I was intrigued by this claim so I checked the ingredients list. The list includes cultured milk, sugar, fruit puree (varies depending on the variety chosen), vegetable and fruit juice, dry milk, and a few binders. There is nothing artificial (sweeteners or flavors) in Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts and the yogurt used in this product contains live and active cultures which may be helpful for your toddler's digestion. There are also no preservatives in the product.

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts come in a one ounce package, similar to other Gerber Graduates snacks. This package of Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts will set you back about $2.99 if you don't get it on sale. This is fairly pricey if your toddler has a big appetite. If your toddler is a little more picky, however, the price may be well worth it to get a healthy treat into your little one's stomach.

While personally I think Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts taste a little weird, my son loves them. He is a huge fan of the soft texture and fruity flavor. Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts are very easy to chew which is great for my little guy who still only has nine teeth.

One serving of Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts, which is ¼ cup, contains 30 calories and no fat. There is one gram of protein and 4 grams of sugar. A serving of Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts does contain a little calcium, some potassium, and a little protein, but overall they are not a nutritional powerhouse.

i just called the gerber's customer service and asked them about the gelatin. they said only DHA gerber baby food products contain pork gelatin, the rest is beef gelatin. i dont know if its kosher or regular. if you have any other questions, just call them 1-800-4-GERBER.

DOES ANY BODY HAVE AN IDEA IF THE GELATIN IN THE YOGURT MELT IS PIG OR KOSHA?

Sounds like a good little snack to keep in the car for road trips, though the price would definitely put me off for everyday snacking. Nice review :)
